Utah Conservation Innovation Grant: NRCS in UT requests applications for Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) to stimulate the development and adoption of innovative conservation approaches and technologies. For fiscal year 2007, up to $475,000 is available for the Utah statewide CIG competition. Grants to eligible entities and individuals may not exceed a maximum of $75,000. Funds for the state component will be awarded through a statewide competitive grants process. Applications are requested from eligible government or non-government organizations, eligible private business, or individuals for competitive consideration of grant awards for projects between one to a maximum of three years in duration. This notice identifies the objectives for CIG projects, the eligibility criteria for projects and associated instructions needed to apply to CIG.
