Vegetation and Aquatic Macroinvertebrate: The project will include field work, data collection, and data management related to several on-going natural resource management projects in Great Smoky Mountains National Park (GRSM). Projects include long-term forest plot monitoring, vegetation mapping accuracy assessment, wetlands inventory, aquatic macroinvertebrate monitoring, and rare plant monitoring. Data collected will assist park management efforts to protect important natural resources throughout the park. These data will also be informative to the scientific community, park partners, educators and the general public.
