Visual and Performing Arts Programs: The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the Embassy of the United States in Islamabad, Pakistan is pleased to announce an open competition for assistance awards through this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). PAS Islamabad invites all eligible organizations (see Section C for Eligibility Requirements) to submit a proposal for a Grant or Cooperative Agreement to support people-to-people activities between the people of the United States and Pakistan, specifically in the area of visual and performing arts (e.g. filmmaking, photography, poetry, theater, comedy, music, or other performing and visual arts). The objective of this funding opportunity is to promote visual and performing arts as a medium for professionals and communities, from the United States and Pakistan, to engage in substantive dialogue about issues related to civic engagement, freedom of expression and social justice.
