WIC Breastfeeding Support Campaign: This project requires the Grantee to develop a proposal to create a competitive opportunity to implement and evaluate the Breastfeeding Campaign in no more than eight WIC State Agencies, which must include at least one Indian Tribal Organization. The process of planning the Campaign implementation and evaluation must be centered on the objectives of the Campaign. In addition, the Grantee must provide support for the implementation of the Campaign in each State Agency as describe below. The proposal must provide a standard implementation or basic intervention model detailing the activities of the campaign implementation and the short, medium, and long-term outcomes, and measures of those outcomes that the State Agencies should include in their proposals. The standard intervention must be designed to accomplish the objectives of the Campaign. The proposal must include planning and developing a strategy to assist and provide technical support to the selected State Agencies to implement and evaluate the Breastfeeding Campaign in their own States. Technical support about the Campaign and social media, as well as monitoring and evaluation, should happen alongside the implementation.
