Wild Rice Restoration: THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO A SINGLE SOURCE AND THERE IS NO FULL ANNOUCEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS NOTICE. This is a notice of intent to award a Cooperative Agreement between the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and New England Wildflower Society, Inc. to evaluate the potential to restore native wild rice to the Sudbury River watershed and implement restoration. The activities funded via the cooperative agreement through Nyanza Natural Resource Damage Settlement. Further, the scope of this project directly relates to the mission of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's (USFWS) of restoring wild plant populations.
