2018 Region 4 Science Applications Projects: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), Science Applications, has received over $2 million dollars annually in the past to support landscape conservation throughout the southeast U.S., including the U.S. Caribbean. Depending on the level of funding available this year, up to 15 projects addressing the five themes areas listed below will be supported: I. Streamlining regulations through the development of conservation Blueprints II. Support at-risk species conservation and State Wildlife Action Plan implementation III. Support Gulf coast restoration IV. Strategic investments V. Balancing human and ecological water needs There are no restrictions on eligibility, all potential applicants are eligible.
