AMTA/Reclamation Fellowships: The American Membrane Technology Association (AMTA) is the leading association in the United States in the area of membrane research and membrane technology innovation. AMTA has an established fellowship program where they fund undergraduate and graduate students to aid the research of membrane technology and advancements made in this area of study. Through this Cooperative Agreement, AMTA and Reclamation will collaborate to select and fund graduate student fellowships. The AMTA/Reclamation Fellowships will be competitively awarded to graduate students pursuing a full-time Masters or Ph.D. at a United States University, that conducts research in innovations for water treatment in membrane related research. AMTA will utilize its established fellowship framework and Reclamation will provide funding and participate in the selection of awardees. This funding will aid in the advancements needed to pursue innovation in membrane technologies and pursue the goals and objectives stated in the White House Initiative on clean water technologies, “Water Resource Challenges and Opportunities for Water Technology Innovation”, published December 2015.
