Alumni Engagement: This award will focus on creating local and regional networking opportunities; providing professional development training; encouraging social and business entrepreneurship through small grants opportunities; and tailoring local outreach in coordination with U.S. embassies in the region to better engage MEPI alumni of the Student Leaders Program (SLP), the Leadership Development Fellowship (LDF), and the Tomorrow's Leaders (TL). This opportunity furthers U.S. foreign policy priorities by strengthening ties with participants who share American values and interests. Further, this opportunity supports MEPI's strategic framework of fostering partnerships between citizens, non-governmental organizations, the private sector, and government institutions to promote shared solutions for the people of the Middle East and North Africa.
