America's Great Outdoors Landscape Stewardship Program: The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) will manage the second year of the Landscape Stewardship Grant Program, on behalf of the USFWS. The second year of the Program will build off the initial year by providing continued capacity building support to the organizations selected in year one. The goal for the program is to build organizational strength around large landscapes which required a sustained investment over multiple years in order to increase the opportunity for success. In year two, applicants who were previously awarded projects will be invited to submit a proposal for year two funding. As part of the proposal, the grantee will have to document what was accomplished in year one, the impediments faced by the grantee and how year two funds will be used to address those challenges.
