Binational State Attorneys' General Exchange and Training: Under the Merida Initiative, the United States has forged strong partnerships to support Mexico's efforts towards implementation of an oral, adversarial criminal justice system at the federal and state levels. The main goal of this project is to ensure that criminal justice and law enforcement officials are able to work together to successfully prosecute crime and in ways that consistently apply the rule of law across jurisdictions in Mexico and the U.S
