This funding announcement is not a request for applications. This is a single source award to the Alice Ferguson Foundation located in Accokeek, Maryland. This synopsis serves as an intent to award on a non-competitive basis. The Foundation is uniquely qualified in programs related to environmental education, teacher training, and curriculum development focusing on the Potomac River Watershed; and the Bridging the Watershed Program involves a partnership between the Foundation which has proprietary rights and administrative oversight of the program with participating parks, schools or school systems.
