Chesapeake Bay Program Office Fiscal Year 2023 Request for Applications for: Chesapeake Bay Watershed Modeler: This Request for Applications (RFA) is seeking insightful, expert, and cost-effective applications from eligible applicants to apply a state-of-the-science, fine-scale Watershed Model (WSM) of the Chesapeake watershed. The purpose of the WSM is to assess the Chesapeake Bay watershed flows and nutrient-sediment loads under all conditions of watershed management and under existing and future climate conditions. The WSM scenarios, as directed by Chesapeake Bay decision-makers, will provide support for management strategies to achieve Chesapeake Bay TMDL water quality standards. The Phase 7 WSM will be completed and fully operational by December 2025.
