Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit, Chesapeake Watershed CESU: The US Geological Survey, Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU Partner for research in the following areas: 1. Research in preparing a proto-type continuous field data (i.e. percent tree, percent barren, percent water, and percent other vegetation layers) of South America for the year 2000 and 2011 using Landsat satellite data; 2.
