Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit, Great Basin CESU: US Geological Survey is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research that addresses the assistance of the USGS Science Applications for Risk Reduction (SAFRR) program to meet its objectives of developing regional multi-hazard scenarios that incorporate climate change, interacting climate extremes, and non-climate hazards, and using these to engage a variety of stakeholders in natural hazards preparedness and risk reduction in light of new advances in understanding and technologies to assess storm hazard risks and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
