Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit, Great Lakes Northern Forests CESU: U.S. Geological Surveyâ¿¿s (USGS) Great Lakes Science Center is offering a funding opportunity for research on â¿¿Analysis of Angler Creel Survey Data from the St. Clair-Detroit Rivers System. This research will provide insight about the quality of fisheries and fishing experience in the SCDRS following habitat and populations restoration efforts. These types of information are critical to identifying and understanding the response of fisheries to habitat restoration efforts (e.g., spawning habitat creation, shorezone restoration) within the SCDRS and western Lake Erie. Information gleaned from these studies will be used to guide management and restoration of fish populations and their habitats in the study areas and across the Great Lakes.
