Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit, North and West Alaska CESU: The USGS is offering a funding opportunity for research to quantify the regional effects of climate changes on the timing, quantity and distribution of glacier runoff to the Gulf of Alaska. The research will provide a framework for mapping present and projecting future effects of changes in glacier runoff on Gulf of Alaska ecosystems.
