Enhancing Reviews and Surveillance to Eliminate Maternal Mortality: Purpose The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announces the availability of funds to support agencies and organizations that coordinate and manage Maternal Mortality Review Committees to identify and characterize pregnancy-related deaths for preventability, abstract clinical/non-clinical data into a standard data system, conduct informant interviews to inform individual case review, and enter information into a standard data system within 2 years of death.
