FY2011 Funding Opportunity Announcement for NGO Programs benefiting refugees in Chad, Cameroon, and the Central African Republic (CAR): PRM will prioritize currently available funding for proposed NGO activities that best meet the Bureau's priorities in Chad, Cameroon, and the CAR as identified below: Country Specific Instructions: (1) Chad - Proposals should focus on Sudanese refugees in the 12 camps in eastern Chad and/or Central African refugees in the 9 camps in southern Chad. Proposals may include work in the following areas: primary health care, primary and secondary education, community services including prevention of gender-based violence, livelihoods, humanitarian air services, and humanitarian information services. (2) Cameroon - Proposals should focus on Central African refugees residing in eastern Cameroon. Proposals may include work in the following: assistance efforts that enhance protection, health, water and sanitation, and food security. (3) Central African Republic - Proposals should focus on activities needed to complete the transfer of Sudanese refugees to the Bambari area or on new refugee arrivals from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
