Fort Stanwix Centennial Exhibition: This is NOT a request for applications. This is just an announcement that the Rome Historical Society has already been selected to receive an award for their work on Fort Stanwix Centennial Exhibition. Specifically, the RHS will: 1. Provide usage rights for selected images, maps, art, and museum objects associated with the history of Fort Stanwix to be used in the exhibition.
2. Provide museum space in the RHS museum for the temporary exhibition – to be displayed at a minimum through December 31, 2017.
3. Provide staff expertise to collaboratively plan, develop, monitor set-up, and review content for the exhibition.
4. Collaborate with other organizations and entities as needed to successfully implement programs and activities associated with the exhibition.
5. Coordinate with NPS to comply with park policies related to proper care and display of museum objects.
6. Administer funds in accordance with this agreement to implement programs and activities associated with the exhibition.
7. Collaboratively promote the exhibition and recognize the NPS’s role through traditional and social media outlets.
8. Immediately report any theft, damage, loan, or change in condition when objects or items are in the care of the other entity.
9. Supply lists of all materials and items to be loaned to the other entity to ensure the inventory loaned is returned in full.
