Kaunti Kuimarisha Uendelevu - Strengthening County Sustainability: The purpose of this APS is to announce that the United States Government (USG) through USAID/Kenya and East Africa desires to fund a limited number of awards to build the capacity of civil society to accelerate their journey to self-reliance with new tools and organizational arrangements. A new county-wide umbrella organization will serve as a foundational pillar to unite civil society without partisan politics, and with the mandate to foster community-led, community-managed and community-owned development. This umbrella organization will be inclusive for all voices and stakeholders to advocate for real accountability, to carry out investment programs, to mobilize resources, to collaborate and learn about what can work for them, and especially to improve the lives of the vulnerable, especially children.
