Mechanisms of Hiv-Related Pulmonary Complications: The purpose of this Request for Applications (RFA) is to encourage innovative research on the roles of co-infections, immune factors and genetic predisposition in the pathogenesis of HIV-related pulmonary diseases. The use of high throughput technologies, collaborations between bench and clinical investigators with mathematical modelers and research involving human tissues or biological samples, is encouraged.
