Mississippi River Trail Projects: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD: This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service's (NPS) intention to fund Mississippi River Trails, Inc Summer of Paddling and Mississippi River Communication Package Project. Summer of Paddling project consists of purchasing the materials needed to host a series of paddling tours, water trail dedications, and other park events focused on getting people outside, increasing awareness of recreational opportunities and natural resources along the Mississippi River. The Mississippi River Communications Package is an educational packet designed to assist communities with improving local marketing for community based, long distance trails used as an economic building tool.
