National Support to Enhance Implementation of Comprehensive Cancer Control Activities: The purpose of this proposed FOA is to support up to two organizations with demonstrated experience, capacity, and national reach working with public health partners to provide enhanced training and technical assistance to NCCCP grantees and their partners within these four critical focus areas. This enhanced training and technical assistance will help NCCCP grantees meet their objectives, and sustain program progress and success. These training efforts will also serve to efficiently translate new information (e.g., updated best practices in cancer care from the United States Preventive Services Task Force, Institute of Medicine, United States Cancer Statistics, Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Reports) to partners at the local level for full implementation of evidenced-based interventions.
