Next Generation Sequencing in Post Mortem Tissue from Patients with Parkinsons Disease (U01 Clinical Trial Not Allowed): This FOA seeks applications to perform single nucleus RNA sequencing (snRNA seq) and whole genome sequencing (WGS) in post-mortem brain tissue from 100 patients with PD and normal controls for the Accelerating Medicine Partnership in Parkinson's Disease (AMP PD). Applicants will be expected to have access to high quality brain tissue and perform sequencing in four separate brain regions, including some regions known to be affected by Parkinson's Disease (PD) and at least one region known to be relatively spared. It is intended that all sequencing data and any available pre-mortem clinical data will be broadly shared with the research community through the AMP PD Knowledge Portal.
