Oldman Watershed Council Landscape Patterns Environmental Quality Analysis: The deliverables will include: A synthesis paper summarizing findings from the published literature (seminal works, peer-reviewed and secondary source materials) that identify relationships between anthropogenic landscape patterns and land use and any part of the environment. Scope is western Canada and the western coterminous USA (Dakotas west). A project report that includes: - A master list and a master map, coding the location of each finding cited; - Results of the analysis distinguishing any finding showing a causation link between landscape patterns and environmental quality from those that indicate correlation. - Categorization of findings by land use, landscape pattern, natural ecoregion and sub-region, scale and seasonality; - An annotated bibliography; and - A summary of methodology.
