Opioid State Targeted Response (STR) Supplement (Short Title: STR Supplement): The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Centers for Substance Abuse Treatment and Prevention (CSAT and CSAP) announce the availability of one-year supplemental funding to enable recipients from FY 2018 Opioid STR to expand/enhance grant activities required under the FY 2017 Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) TI-17-014. The purpose of this program is to expand and enhance prevention, treatment, and recovery support efforts in the states hardest hit by the nation's opioid epidemic. The purpose of the supplemental funding is to bolster efforts already being made through the STR grant program. These additional funds are intended to target areas of greatest need.
