Opportunity USDA-NRCS-MO-10-02: The NRCS State Office in Missouri is seeking to partner and support the efforts of natural resource conservation partners and to promote public awareness and implementation of Farm Bill activities. The main focus areas are described below. Conservation partners are invited to apply for NRCS assistance to:- Conduct workshops, conferences and training that will help educate Missouri's farm community, private landowners, conservation organizations, cooperating agencies and general citizenry on the following:o Promote public awareness of NRCS programs to eligible participants.o Educate women landowners in the agricultural industry.- Provide assistance and guidance to watershed districts.- Produce educational materials promoting conservation programs and initiatives. - Expand partner's stand-alone capabilities to monitor delivery of conservation programs and conduct quality assurance and inspection of funded conservation projects.- Conduct outreach activities, develop informational materials and conduct technical workshops for woodland landowners.- Promote public awareness of NRCS programs with respect to livestock issues.
