Predatory Beetles for Biocontrol of HWA at Cumberland Gap NHP: The goal of this project is to identify release sites for predators (beetles) of hemlock woolly adelgid in multiple locations throughout the hemlock forests of Cumberland Gap NHP, release the beetles, and monitor release sites for subsequent establishment of beetle populations.

The United States Department of the Interior, The National Park Service (NPS), and Cumberland Gap National Historic Park (CUGA) are announcing a notice of intent to award; this is not a request for applications. This funding opportunity is to provide public notice of NPS's intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition, under Cooperative Agreement P14AC00882 with the University of Tennessee, a partner under the Southern Appalachian Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit, for Predatory Beetles for Biocontrol of Hemlock Wool Adelgid at CUGA.
