Request for Information on BIL- Grid Resilience and Innovation Partnerships (GRIP): Request for Information on BIL– Grid Resilience and Innovation Partnerships (GRIP) This Request for Information is to help inform DOE's implementation of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), also commonly known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), specifically the BIL sections relevant to this draft FOA, which are 40101(c), 40107, and 40103(b). The purpose of the Grid Resilience and Innovation Partnerships program is to support the development of comprehensive and regional resilience strategies to address the increasing threats to our power system infrastructure; specifically to prevent outages and enhance the resilience of the electric grid, deploy technologies to enhance grid flexibility, and demonstrate innovative approaches to power sector infrastructure resilience and reliability. This is a Request for Information only. The U.S. Department of Energy will not pay for information provided under this Request for Information and no project will be supported as a result of this Request for Information. This Request for Information is not accepting applications for financial assistance or financial incentives. The U.S. Department of Energy may or may not issue a Funding Opportunity Announcement based on consideration of the input received from this Request for Information.
