SMMNRA Interagency Trail Management Plan Preparation Assistance: MRCA and NPS, in addition to Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy and California Department of Parks and Recreation, collectively referred to as the partner agencies, are preparing the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area (SMMNRA) Interagency Trail Management Plan (TMP) and accompanying NEPA and CEQA-based joint Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Report (EIS/EIR). The TMP will prescribe long-term management for the public trail network throughout SMMNRA. TMP and EIS/EIR preparation will be graphics-intensive, and the NPS-SMMNRA GIS is being used to inventory data needs for the TMP EIS/EIR preparation, with a TMP GIS Technician tasked with maintenance and preparation of digital information and maps, graphics, and summaries derived from the GIS data
