Scholars Training for the Advancement of Research (STAR): Competitive Revision to NINR T32 Training Grants (T32): The purpose of the Scholars Training for the Advancement of Research (STAR) institutional research training program is to increase the number of nurse scientists who are prepared to undertake a career in interdisciplinary clinical or basic research. NINR invites competitive revision applications from NINR funded T32 Institutional training grants to support the fast track training of up to two students in an innovative integrated interdisciplinary Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) to PhD program. Applicants must demonstrate the ability, through the unique design of the program, to provide STAR trainees with highly innovative and cutting-edge integrated interdisciplinary research approaches and training experience(s). This program is designed for students with outstanding credentials finishing a BSN or for those trained in another discipline who plan to pursue a career in nursing science.
