Seagrass Recovery Project at Gulf Islands National Seashore, Florida District: This is a Notice of Intent (NOI) to award a non-competitive Task Agreement under the Gulf Coast, Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) Master Cooperative Agreement (P12AC51051) in accordance with Department of Interior, 505 Departmental Manual 2.12C. The purpose of this project is to address damage to shallow seagrass beds by restoring injury to turtle grass (Thalassia testudinum) in seagrass beds located on the south side of the Naval Live Oaks Preserve in Santa Rosa Sound, in Santa Rosa County. This project seeks to restore submerged aquatic vegetation on DOI-managed lands injured by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill and response.
