Speaker program 2023: The Embassy of the United States in North Macedonia Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out implement the FY2023/24 U.S. Speaker Program. The applicant should be able to research and identify qualified U.S. speakers and specialists to participate virtually or in-person, and to address a variety of topics which focus on rule of law reforms, judicial independence, government accountability and transparency, modern journalism practices and combating disinformation, and private sector growth and entrepreneurship. U.S. experts will provide a wide range of perspectives, combat disinformation, and pass along practical skills, creating a multiplier effect within North Macedonia. The applicant will be responsible for overall logistics and contracting for U.S. speakers which may include: submit lists of potential speakers to the Embassy for review and approval and brief the speakers on the specific topics, audience and events they will attend; arrange all the logistics for the speakers' international and in-country travel and virtual programming, including airfare, lodging, per diem, accidental and sickness insurance and others; monitor the progress of each speaker program including collecting feedback and a summary report; and organize follow-on activities if requested by the Embassy.
