Translational Outcomes Project in Neurotrauma (TOP-NT) (UG3/UH3): The purpose of this FOA is to support the development and validation of pathophysiologically based preclinical outcome measures or functional markers that align closely with practical clinical assessments in spinal cord injury (SCI) and/or traumatic brain injury (TBI). Bedside knowledge and experience will be leveraged to create better assessment tools for preclinical studies, and the resulting data will be made available to researchers. The goal is to improve the value of preclinical studies to inform clinical diagnoses and prognoses and therapeutic translation.
