Weber's draba project: Weberâ¿¿s draba (Draba weberi) is known from only four sites and only a few hundred individuals. Two of these sites are owned and managed by Colorado Springs Utilities in the Ten Mile Range of Colorado. The largest Weberâ¿¿s draba site is located between two reservoirs. Water flows are heavily managed at this site and maintaining water in the channel is essential for the survival of the species. Developing a conservation agreement for this species, would reduce threats to the species on private lands where the species would not otherwise receive protections under the Endangered Species Act. In order to achieve this goal, we would like to hire a contractor to work with Colorado Springs Utilities, the Service, and potentially the Forest Service to develop a conservation agreement for Weberâ¿¿s draba.
