Youth Initiative: NFWF will work with FWS to develop a RFP and solicit grant applications using their vast newwork of its partners. Proposals will be submitted and reviewed through NFWF's online EasyGrant system. Upon receipt of proposals, NFWF and FWS will work closely to coordinate the review process and present the funding organizations with a recommended project award list. After final approval by the funders, NFWF will send out a 30-day Congressional Notification, develop grant agreements with the selected projects in consultation with FWS, and work with the funding agencies to organize and appropriate and high profile grant announcement event.
