Acan Testbed Experiment Cooperative Agreement Notice: The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Glenn Research Center is releasing a Cooperative Agreement Notice (CAN) for the use of the Space Communications and Navigation (SCaN) Testbed. The SCaN testbed is a Communications, Navigation and Networking Reconfigurable Testbed (formerly CoNNeCT). On or about 8/2/2012, this CAN will be available electronically through the NASA Research Opportunities homepage at http://nspires.nasaprs.com by selecting "Solicitations" and then "Open Solicitations". Participation is open to educational institutions, industry and nonprofit organizations. Proposal due date is 9/17/2012 for the first review period; 1/31/2013 for the second review period; amd 5/31/2013 for the third review period. This solicitation leading to the award of a Cooperative Agreement is issued pursuant to title 14 CFR Part 1260 for educational and nonprofit institutions and 14 CFR part 1274 for commercial organizations. Notwithstanding the posting of this opportunity at FedBizOpps.gov, Grants.gov, or at both sites, NASA reserves the right to determine the appropriate award instrument for each proposal selected pursuant to this announcement.
