Scan Testbed Experiment Cooperative Agreement Notice: Note: This synopsis replaces a prior notice published on July 30, 2012 which contained an error in the title and in the types of eligible applicants. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Glenn Research Center is releasing a Cooperative Agreement Notice (CAN) for the use of the Space Communication and Navigation (SCaN Testbed. The SCaN testbed is a Communications, Navigation and Networking Reconfigurable testbed (formerly known as the CoNNeCT project). On or about 8/10/2012, this CAN will be available electronically through the NASA Research Opportunities homepage at http://nspires.nasaprs.com by selecting "Solicitations" and then "Open Solicitations". Participation is open to educational institutions. The proposal due date is 9/17/2012 for the first review period; 1/31/2013 for the second review period; and 5/31/2013 for the third review period. This solicitation leading to the award of a Cooperative Agreement is issued pursuant to title 14 CFR Part 1260 for educational and nonprofit institutions. Notwithstanding the posting of this opportunity at FedBizOpps.gov, Grants.gov, or at both sites, NASA reserves the right to determine the appropriate award instrument for each proposal selected pursuant to this announcement.
