BLM Utah Rich County sage Grouse Initiate (SGI) Implementation: The Principle purpose of this agreement is to support and promote the ongoing efforts in Rich County Utah, in facilitation proper management of livestock grazing as it relates to improved habitat for sage grouse, improved riparian conditions and improved watershed health. This project would support the ongoing effort of the Department of Agriculture in placing an individual in Rich County to oversee and assist in the on the ground efforts to implement improved grazing practices and enhance watershed values. The public benefits from clean water, improved recreations experiences, improved watershed health that increases wildlife for viewing and hunting opportunities. It will also benefit the ranching community in providing continued access to publics lands for their ranching needs.
