Benedict Waterfront Redevelopment Project: This is not a request for applications, this is just an announcement that NPS has already entered into a cooperative agreement with Charles County, MD for their work on the Benedict Waterfront Redevelopment Project. Charles County agrees to: 1. Identify a Key Official to serve as the representative for this Agreement; 2. Continue to support the existing Benedict planning committee for this project; 3. Seek contractors through open competition and execute contracts to complete construction document drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates; 4. Secure all appropriate permits (Maryland Department of Environment, Charles County Codes, Permits and Inspection Services, Maryland Department of Natural Resources and other permits as needed) and Rights of Way Documents. 5. Comply with all program guidelines and all applicable federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations in completion of the project described in Attachment A.
