Clinical Nutrition Research Unit Core Centers: The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) invites applications for Clinical Nutrition Research Unit (CNRU) core centers. The CNRUs are core centers (P30) that are part of an integrated program of nutrition and obesity-research support provided by NIDDK. A total of $4,000,000 in FY 2006 will be committed to fund a total of three new and/or competing continuation grants in response to this RFA. An applicant may request a project period of up to 5 years and a budget for direct costs of up to $750,000 per year. Three existing CNRUs are expected to submit competing renewal applications.
