Evaluation and Implementation of a Program to Prevent Drug Use and Anti-Social, Violent, and Criminal Behavior in Youth: The Government of Mexico has prioritized policies that address the root causes of violence, including the multi-agency, countrywide National Violence and Crime Prevention Program. As part of these efforts, INL has been asked to support applied research programs that could potentially decrease the likelihood that participants will engage in drug use or criminal behavior. As part of these efforts, INL is seeking applications from qualified organizations to develop, implement, and evaluate a parenting model that identifies and treats antisocial and criminogenic tendencies in youth, especially illegal drug use and the violent and/or criminal behavior it is often associated with. The model has the goal of improving social conditions in areas of Mexico affected by violence and drug use.
