Georgia Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative: USDA NRCS administers the Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative (GLCI) to help livestock farmers address natural resource concerns while enhancing the economic, environmental and social stability of grazing land enterprises and rural communities. The goal of this initiative is to fund innovative, and improved forage/livestock management practice projects that will then be used for demonstrations of enhanced grazing land stability, improved livestock management efficiency, and increased agricultural sustainability as it relates to forage and livestock systems on private grazing lands.
