Lakeside Trail Shoreline Stabilization Project: Bank erosion from precipitation and wave action has destroyed sections of a public use trail, is filling in lake habitat, and slowly removing portions of a brush corridor used by endangered ocelots. Shoreline stabilization measures such as sloping with construction equipment must be completed to prevent further erosion and subsequent brush and trail destruction at Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge.
