Museum Collection Conservation and Preservation: Personnel from SFMNPA and NPS will collaborate to perform conservation and preservation techniques to museum collection items and collection. The park is mandated to make its collections open, accessible and available to everyone. We are also mandated to protect the museum artifacts entrusted to our care. Once the project is completed, the collections storage facility can resume providing public tours and make the collections accessible to the public.
