Partnering with Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health to Strengthen and Sustain Capacity to Prevent, Detect, Respond to Infectious Diseases, and Provide Care and Treatment Services under the President's Emergency Plan: The purpose of this funding opportunity announcement is to strengthen the capacity of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health to provide sustainable evidence-based effective HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment services. As HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment services become more integrated within the health system in Ho Chi Minh City this Cooperative Agreement will enable a more robust technical engagement in PMTCT and maternal health sector, tuberculosis and other infectious disease priorities, laboratory services, health insurance implementation, and long-term technical assistance capacity of Ho Chi Minh City. This announcement would provide support for planning, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of provincial HIV/AIDS -related activities and other infectious diseases priorities and it intends to build on the existing strong partnerships between CDC and the Government of Vietnam.
