Produce and Televise Memorial Day and Independence Day Programs Featuring the National Symphony Orchestra on the West Lawn of the United States Capitol: Produce and televise the 2017 Memorial Day and Independence Day programs featuring the National Symphony Orchestra on the West Lawn of the United States Capitol. This project assists in promotion of the publicâ¿¿s understanding of our cultural heritage on the grounds of a local partnerâ¿¿s West Lawn, This agreement serves a public purpose by encouraging greater public and private participation in in historic preservation programs and activities. The Memorial Day and Independence Day concerts are shared to a broad audience through a live performance, a public service broadcast on T.V, and streamed world-wide to members of the U.S. military. These concerts are shared to a wide audience all over the U.S and all over the world. The high profile nature of the performance on historic property increases public awareness, knowledge and support for historic preservation and stewardship of the nationâ¿¿s natural, cultural and historical heritage.
