Provide Interpretation and Education at the Tenement Museum: This is NOT a request for applications. This is just public notice that a task agreement has been entered between the NPS and Lower East Side Tenement Museum under an existing cooperative agreement. 1. The Museum shall carry out the Statement of Work in accordance with the terms and conditions stated herein. The Recipient shall adhere to Federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and codes, as applicable.2. Hire 8 educators/interpreters to conduct educational programs in its National Landmark building for upwards of 30,000 school children annually, in grades K through 12, representing itself as an NPS-affiliated site conducting an NPS-supported program3. Conduct public tours in its National Landmark building for upwards of 100,000 visitors annually, representing itself as an NPS-affiliated site conducting an NPS-supported program4. Build new and more diverse audiences for its NPS-affiliated site through interpretive and educational programs, including the opening of new exhibits in 103 Orchard St documenting the lives of three immigrant families who lived there. 5. Introduce NPNH staff to Museum programs through collaborative workshops with NPS staff from other NPNH sites in planning teacher professional development programs.
