Reclamation's Water Use Efficiency Grant Program, California Bay-Delta Constituents: The Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region, intends to issue a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) for a Grant/Cooperative Agreement pursuant to the authority of Reclamation Act of 1902 (32 Stat. 388), as amended and supplemented; Public Law No. 102-575, Section 3405 (e), 1992; and Public Law 111-11. The principal feature of the work is to promote the goals/objectives and missions of CALFED. These goals (objectives) include but are not limited to:Goal 1: Reduce existing irrecoverable losses, increasing the overall volume of available water;Goal 2: Achieve multiple state-wide benefits;Goal 3: Preserve local flexibility; and Goal 4: Build on existing water use efficiency programs.Period of Performance is from the date of issuance of the Agreement to September 30, 2013. FOA No. R11AF20019 will be posted on the GRANTS.GOV web site, at www.grants.gov, on or about May 23, 2011. The estimated date for receipt of proposals is on or about June 23, 2011. The FOA must be downloaded at the above web site. No paper copy of this announcement will be distributed. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) applied to this FOA. Prospective recipients must be registered prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offer ineligible for award.
