SRLCC-Colorado participation and coordination among State and Federal Partners for landscape conservation activities: This synopsis is the full announcement. The tasks to be performed under this agreement are as follows: The SRLCC is providing $20K to the State of Colorado in association with the Colorado River Basin Study and the Colorado-New Mexico DSS landscape projects to support salary for meetings or other technical assistance which will allow State personnel to participate in mutually agreed upon SRLCC activities. Likely outcomes would be: An assessment of the current infrastructure on the Colorado River and the capability of that infrastructure facing these water supply challenges. Identification of solutions for water demand - water conservation, changes in reservoir operations, desalinization and water supply augmentation. Data integration needs Identifying and prioritizing geospatial data best suited for seamless integration across state lines; Geospatial data compatibility potential Examining the underlying tabular data formats, attributes, etc. and assessing the potential compatibility between like data layers; Data generalization protocols Considering how data can be generalized to meet the needs of pilot DSSs as well as to facilitate seamless integration across state lines and across jurisdictions. This agreement is being awarded under the following authority: Section 2 of Reorganization Plan No. 3 of 1950 (64 Stat. 1262) as amended. The project was competed through the Southern Rockies Landscape Conservation Cooperatives program.
